The pearl of Hjälmaren
A paddle trip of about 8.5 km takes you to Vinön, which is Hjälmaren's largest island with about a hundred residents who multiply during the summer months. Despite this, the island is perceived as calm and idyllic. Nature is ever present, varied and beautiful.
Here you can swim, hike, eat or have coffee.
On the north side of the island there is a nice swimming area, fireplaces, toilets and a kiosk that is open during the summer months. The southwestern part of the island differs as it is not arranged, more like a hidden oasis with beautiful nature and natural baths.
