With a paddle trip of about 10.5 km you will find Fåran which consists of two islands that are connected by an approximately 100 meter sand reef. The revelation's beautiful formation and location vary depending on from which direction the wind has been for a long period. At high tide, the sand reef is completely under water. When the water level is normal, you can hike dry-shod between the islands.
The island is a nature reserve with several long fine sandy beaches. Tents are allowed for up to two days on the outer Fåran. Next to the tent camp there are facilities such as rubbish bins and toilets.
